Dogs wearing colourful coats, scarves and leg warmers have arrived for this year's Crufts in the UK.

The show on the outskirts of Birmingham in the midlands attracts more than 18,000 competitors and runs until to Sunday.

Organised and hosted by The Kennel Club, it is the largest show of its kind in the world.

The annual competition sees dogs taking part in a wide variety of challenges and presentations in a bid to take home the trophy.

Crufts in its current form began in 1891, making it older than the modern Olympics.
