Born on the streets of Toronto as a busking band in 2010, the 11-piece Lemon Bucket Orkestra claim to be Canada’s only Balkan-Klezmer-Gypsy-Party-Punk supergroup.

The Lemon Bucket Orkestra has toured the world playing international festivals and earning accolades for their eclectic genre-defying sound, delivered with equal parts of exhilarating precision and reckless abandon.

The Guardian proclaimed that The Lemon Bucket Orkestra  performances are "gorgeously sung and passionately played" while the The New York Times declared them as "charismatic…handsome and ambitious”.

The Lemon Bucket Orckestra promised to take their audience on a joyful, impassioned ride through the Balkans and beyond. Filling the TSB Bowl stage in New Plymouth on Sunday 18th March, they did just that.
