Following critical acclaim as a major new production for Silo Theatre in the 2020 Auckland International Arts festival, and a sell-out season in Wellington at the Kia Mau Arts Festival in June 2021, the groundbreaking Pasifika theatre show 'UPU' returns and is being performed around New Zealand.
UPU celebrates Pasifika writers and poets, one of them being Fijian poet, Daren Kamali who is best known for his contributions to literature and even took home the Pacific Heritage Arts Award at the Arts Pasifika Awards in 2022.
