Pacific Island states have been meeting in Samoa over the past week to work out priorities ahead the United Nations Climate Change Conference - COP28 in Dubai.
The countries are asking large greenhouse gas emitting nations to be held accountable and pay for the impacts of climate change.
Pepetua Latasi, who is representing Tuvalu spoke with RNZ Pacific's Caleb Fotheringham from the meeting venue in Apia.
