The Fijian Drua saved the best for last as an extra time field goal saw them claim their second home win in the 2024 Super Rugby Pacific competition game in Lautoka on Saturday.
New South Wales' Waratahs had fought back hard in the match to draw level at 36-all minutes before the end.
Replacement Kemu Valetini, who had entered the field in the last 10 minutes of the game, sent the ball between the posts despite some desperate Waratahs attempts to stop the kick, as Drua claimed a 39-36 win and sent Fijian fans into a cheering frenzy.
