Several bowel cancer specialists have sent a letter to the New Zealand Medical Journal, concerned that the way patients in the bowel screening programme get their results could be getting misleading.
Brian Cox, Phil Bagshaw, Ainslie Talbot, Mary Jane Sneyd, say they're worried that the way the reporting is done could be illegal and they want the entire programme overhauled.
