Legislation passed last night empowering women to negotiate for pay equity is being called the biggest win for gender equality in nearly forty years.
It provides a process for industries with a female-dominated workforce to negotiate for pay rises in line with what men are paid for doing similar work. Hamish Cardwell has more.
