Govt buys another 8.5 million doses of Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine

The government has secured enough of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine for the entire country.

An advance purchase agreement for another 8.5 million doses has been signed. The original agreement with Pfizer was for 1.5 million doses, bringing the total number of doses ordered to 10 million - enough for five million people.
