Flooding has caused chaos in Canterbury since rain began to fall heavily on Sunday. While the rain has eased somewhat, rivers are still high. The rain has closed roads, caused destruction on farms and led to evacuations in some areas. Canterbury Emergency Coordination Centre response manager Andrew Howe, and Ashburton mayor Neil Brown give Lately an update on the situation across the region.
