The number of job listings on the website TradeMe fell dramatically in Auckland during the September quarter, showing the impact of the city's second lockdown.
Auckland City recorded a 41 percent drop in online job listings, with a nationwide decline of 10 percent, compared with the same period last year.
TradeMe jobs spokesperson, Matt Tolich, told our reporter, Amy Williams, that despite the hurt in Auckland, the national job market had a much stronger quarter than forecast.
