Teachers are getting sufficient govt support to learn te reo

The Associate Minister of Education is confident teachers are being sufficiently supported to met te reo and tikanga Māori requirements. Teachers must formal declare they are developing and practising te reo and tikanga Māori to renew their practising certificate. Over 28-thousand teachers have met this requirement - but three hundred haven't. Associate Minister of Education (Māori) Kelvin Davis spoke to Meriana Johnsen.
