Pets may soon be allowed on Auckland buses

Auckland public transport users could be sitting next to a furry friend or two if a motion to allow pets on board is passed. From July Wellingtonians will be allowed to carry pets on trains and buses as long as they're domestic and can fit in a cage. Auckland Councillor Cathy Casey is hoping Auckland can follow suit.
