Whanganui shooting: Woman screamed for help - neighbour

From Morning Report, 6:40 am on 23 August 2018

People living near a gang shooting in Whanganui are worried the killing is going to escalate tensions between rival gangs. Twenty-seven-year-old Kevin Ratana was shot outside his girlfriend's home in Puriri Street on Tuesday morning. Police are still hunting for his killers and part of the street is still cordoned off. Mr Ratana belonged to the Mongrel Mob, and it is suspected he was shot by Black Power members. A neighbour, who only wants to go by his first name Kyle, told RNZ Maori news correspondent Leigh-Marama McLachlan he was at home when the shooting happened.
