Inflation creeps up - Nick Tuffley's analysis
Inflation has risen to its highest level in a year, on the back of rising petrol and housing prices. Prices rose 0.9 percent in the September quarter, with annual inflation rate rising to 1.9 percent. That's just below the Reserve Bank's targeted midpoint level of 1 to 3 percent. Nick Tuffley is the chief economist at ASB Bank. He talks to Susie Ferguson.
