Hamilton West voters will head to the polls this Saturday for the by-election triggered by former Labour MP Gaurav Sharma, when he resigned from Parliament in October.
People aren't rushing out to vote despite heightened concern about crime and the cost of living.
Candidates have been campaigning for weeks but who exactly is in the running is still a mystery for some locals.
Dr Sharma is re-standing in the electorate as a candidate for Momentum NZ, while also vying for the seat are National's Tama Potaka and Georgie Dansey for Labour.
All three of those candidates spoke to Corin Dann to debate the big issues facing the area.
