A category one hurricane could gather more strength before it makes landfall in Florida tomorrow, meteorologists believe.
Hurricane Idalia may be the first major hurricane in almost 200 years to track into Apalachee Bay, according to the National Hurricane Center.
The National Guard is on call and evacuations are underway as the storm could deliver a devastating blow to parts of Florida's Gulf Coast.
