Mt Maunganui residents are growing frustrated authorities aren't addressing poor air quality in the popular beachside suburb.
The Bay of Plenty's public health organisation released a report in July, which said air pollution from heavy industry was causing 13 premature deaths in Mt Maunganui each year.
Locals say they are concerned for their families and their children, but they feel like no one is listening.
