New Zealand's covid restrictions during the pandemic saved the lives of about 20,000 people.
That's according to the first comprehensive analysis of the COVID-19 response, published in the New Zealand Medical Journal on Friday.
Its authors - 16 leading doctors and scientists - are calling for all serious respiratory infections - including the flu and RSV - to be treated the same way.
