X, the social media network formerly known as Twitter, is suing a media watchdog group for defamation.

In the lawsuit, filed on Monday, X accuses Media Matters of manipulating data to "drive advertisers from the platform and destroy X Corp".
X owner Elon Musk had over the weekend threatened to file a "thermonuclear" lawsuit against Media Matters and anyone who colluded in what he called a 'fraudulent attack' on his company.
