Hawkers peddling their wares on an Auckland road famous for its Christmas lights seemed undeterred by the council's threats to shut them down.
Residents of Franklin Road in Ponsonby have complained this week after hawkers selling food, toys, and accessories refused to leave when asked.
But around half a dozen turned out again Thursday night. Franklin Road resident Roscoe Thorby started the light show around 30 years ago.
