St Clair beach in Dunedin is set to play host to the New Zealand Surf Championships from Sunday.
The event has run since 1963, and offers a chance for New Zealand's best surfing talent to battle it out across multiple divisions and age ranges.
The defending champions in both the men's and women's open divisions are back to defend their titles.
