Urgent clarity needed on Govt's plans for water says Infrastructure New Zealand

Infrastructure New Zealand says urgent clarity is needed on the government's plans for drinking, storm, and wastewater.

The coalition intends to scrap Labour's affordable water reforms, saying it will instead restore council ownership and control of water assets.

But the Infrastructure body says councils do not have the money; and critical infrastructure investments and plans need to be de-politicised.

Infrastructure New Zealand advocacy and strategy lead Martina Moroney spoke to Corin Dann.
