A Muriwai resident says nobody is policing drivers hooning on the beach - and the only way to ensure safety is to close it entirely to vehicles.
Over the weekend, a person died when a vehicle rolled on Muriwai Beach and another was injured in quad bike crash on Himatangi Beach, in Manawatu.
