Nelson hasn't had a decent record store since Everyman Records closed down a few years ago, so regular RNZ Music correspondent Grant Smithies has taken it upon himself to open one.
The only way to find Family Jewels Records is to first find the church, which houses the pub, which is home to the store. Then you can browse the LPs with a pint in your hand.
