Laurie Anderson on her Concert for Dogs

From RNZ Music, 1:20 pm on 14 March 2020

The iconic artist and musician talks to Kirsten Johnstone about life, death, and dogs.

Laurie Anderson is a musician, performance artist, spoken word artist, film maker, poet, philosopher, inventor, buddhist, activist and Lou Reed’s wife. She was also one of the curators for the International Arts Festival that is wrapping up in Wellington this weekend.

RNZ music’s Kirsten Johnstone talked with her briefly following a concert specifically for a canine audience – dogs of all sizes and shapes packed in to Civic Square, and ears pricked up at the sounds they heard.
