Phil Garland in Session

Phil Garland has spent 40 years gathering New Zealand folk songs and stories. Now he's collected some of them into a book 'Faces in the Firelight' for future generations to enjoy. He joins Kirsten Johnstone for a chat, and a bit of a session. The songs he performs in the studio are: The Ballad of Davy Lowston; The Old Identity; the Ballad of James McKenzie.
