Imogen Heap

Londoner Imogen Heap has a hardcore bunch of fans here in New Zealand. Nick Atkinson was astounded by a small but tightly packed audience that new every word and refrain of a musically complex 17 song set that Imogen Heap performed in Auckland in March 2010. While the venue was intimate Heap didn't stint on her gear. She set up stacks of keyboards and electronic pads. There were piles of instruments both acoustic and electronic. Nick got a guided tour of her stage while Imogen demonstrated some of her fruitier noise making contraptions.
