The Americans: US Election 2020

Leading up to the US presidential election, three specialists in US politics, history and media from the University of Auckland, all from the USA but currently happily living here in New Zealand -  will take us through the systems, the history and the precedents, and try to explain why things might be happening the way they are.

Dr Maria Armoudian, Associate Professor Jennifer Frost and Dr Tim Fadgen from The University of Auckland are joined this week by two journalists from PBS Newshour, Lisa Desjardins and Dan Bush. Tonight they're looking at the media in the Unites States and it's place in US Politics.
