Professor Richie Poulton, director of the internationally-renowned Dunedin Study, joins Kim Hill to look back on his own life’s developments and play some favourite songs.

Since 1972, the Dunedin Multidisciplinary Health and Development Study (aka The Dunedin Study) has regularly assessed 1037 Dunedin-born babies.

When study members were aged 45, 94.1 percent of living members participated, making it the highest follow-up rate for a study of this design and duration anywhere in the world.

Professor Poulton first worked on The Dunedin Study as an interviewer back in 1985 and went on to establish and co-direct the National Centre for Lifecourse Research.
