Today our museum stop is in south Taranaki. Not far out of Hawera you will find the Tawhiti Museum. Established over 30 years ago and privately run, it takes visitors on a journey from early Maori settlement in the region to the modern day using life size exhibits and scale models, with input from Weta Workshop. Owner, artist and enthusiast Nigel Ogle is the driving force and joins Anna to share its unique attractions.
