The annual Auckland Writers Festival is upon us, Waituhi o Tamaki, one of the best-attended festivals in the world, and on Festival Director Anne O'Brien's watch numbers have increased in a decade from 25,000 each year to more than 80,000.
The Aotea Centre each year year is heaving, to use an adjective not in many of the books being discussed.
