MPI's handling of Kauri dieback 'appalling'

A new report has slammed MPI's handling of kauri dieback as "appalling". The Environment Select Committee report called the agency slow to act in its response to the threat.

It highlights serious concern from organisations that the department has failed with its Kauri Dieback Programme and has let the disease get out of control.
