A woman who was refused entry into a bar because of her moko kauae has been apologised to and asked to educate staff on the matter.
Atawhai Tuki shared her story on social media after a bouncer at the Havelock North bar Diva Bistro refused her and her partner entry.
She says the situation has been dealt with now but the panellist weigh in on whether it could have been handled better.
