Michael Keegan-Dolan's Swan Lake/Loch na hEala opened at NZ Festival last night
There was no Tchaikovsky. No tutus. No Royal Palace. But Irish choreographer Michael Keegan-Dolan is emphatic his Swan Lake keeps the original story 100 percent intact.
The Irish choreography has brought his works here before – last time it was his interpretation of Giselle.
On stage for Loch na hEala was string trio playing traditional Irish music.
