New Zealand airline steps in to take on troubled Norfolk route

Another New Zealand airline is stepping up to take on the troubled Norfolk Island/Auckland route.

Air Chathams, which flies a number of routes around the New Zealand mainland and to the Chatham Islands, is hoping to get the go-ahead and be able to begin flights toward the end of the year.

Two airlines have given up on the route over the past year but Air Chathams Duane Emeny, told Don Wiseman he is confident they can make the route work.
