Volcanic haze from Hawaii hits islands 6,000kms away

Volcanic haze from Hawaii's Kilauea volcano has reached the Northern Marianas and Guam, over 6,000 kilometres away, affecting visibilty there.

The National Weather Service in Guam says a blue-grey haze first started impacting the Marshall Islands over the weekend.

Forecaster Clint Simpson told Koro Vaka'uta it has now arrived in the CNMI and Guam.
