Oceania Rugby announces two new competitions

Oceania Rugby has announced two competitions to be held in Auckland ahead of the Commonwealth Games.

Australia, Fiji, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Tonga and an invitational Oceania side will take the field in June for The Oceania Rugby Super Sevens.

Two weeks later, the annual Oceania Rugby Women's Championship will return after three years of cancellations due to the pandemic.

RNZ Pacific's Lydia Lewis spoke with players in New Zealand ahead of the events.
