With the curtains set to fall on the International Maritime Organisation's climate summit on Friday, UK time, it's unknown whether the talks will deliver an ambitious climate outcome.

Whatever the conclusion, however, Pacific nations have made their presence felt.

They've been motivated, and pushed for global shipping to become fossil-fuel free.
