Leaders in social agencies from five Pacific and South-East asian countries were in New Zealand last week to share their experiences of working to help families and children in their regions overcome violence, malnutrition and poverty.

The leaders are part of "WOVEN" a five-year partnership between World Vision and New Zealand's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade which aims to reach more than 18,000 families in Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, Laos and Timor Leste by 2025.

RNZ Pacific Editor Koroi Hawkins spoke with World Vision's International Partnerships director TJ Grant and director of the WOVEN Men Be the Change Project, Shanna Ligo about their work.
