From start to finish there was no shortage of songs, ura, tamure and drums in the Pacific Island's Forum opening ceremony, mainly led by hundreds of Cook Island children.
All 18 Pacific States are being represented this year and for the first time in the forum's history the U.N General Assembly President, Dennis Francis is attending, alongside more than 500 delegates.
The performance in Rarotonga marks the official commencement of the 52nd Pacific Island's Forum.
