Fiji politics continues to ramp up and the individuals at the centre of it all happen to be the two ministers embroiled in a sex and drug scandal.

The General Secretary of the leading party of Fiji's Coalition Government said ministers must remember that they work for the tax-payer and are public servants and therefore must act accordingly.

His remarks to RNZ Pacific follow a recent complaint against his own party member - Women's Minister Lynda Tabuya over her conduct which is being investigated.

Meanwhile, the Australian government has requested lewd images of Ms Tabuya be removed from online websites despite her saying "it is fake news."

People's Alliance General Secretary, Usaia Waqatairewa spoke with RNZ Pacific's Eleisha Foon about the unfolding situations.
