A Samoan academic is heading to Harvard University in Boston to share her knowledge with students across the globe.
Auckland Theologian Dr Therese Lautua is taking up a teaching position as a College Fellow in Indigenous Religion at the Ivy League school.
She will be teaching three courses to up to 80 students on a one year-renewable contract.
RNZ Pacific's Eleisha Foon spoke with Dr Therese Lautua as she embarks on her journey at Harvard.
