North Pacific countries continue to face extreme weather conditions.

Marshall Islands, Guam, Palau, Mariana Islands, and the Federated States of Micronesia have been experiencing extreme droughts, with rainfall now expected as late as June.

The Micronesian region has received below-normal rainfall since last month, with temperatures soaring to 30 degrees.

Last month, the driest of the year, saw crop failures, water rationing, and an increased risk of wildfires in the outer islands, significantly impacting the daily lives of the people.
