1:15 Why women don't know they're having a heart attack

When most people imagine what it might feel like to have a heart attack, many first think of an intense crushing chest pain.

But around 20% of patients actually present with no chest pain at all, and women are less likely to have chest pain than men.

This according to a research project by Whitireia student and academic at Te Pūkenga.

To tell us what to watch out for instead - especially in females, Programme Manager of Paramedicine at Whitireia, Belinda Westenra speaks to Jesse.

1:35 CODES, a musical project based on a 'secret language'

Time to turn back the clock to a time when same sex relationships were illegal. Sadly we don't have to turn the clock that far, it was only in 1984 that law changed here in Aotearoa.

During those dark times, in terms of the law, the LGBT community came up with their own way of communicating their sexuality and other messages to avoid being arrested or targeted.

Here's a collection of research from AUT about rainbow history in Aotearoa New Zealand.

That signalling is the reason the musical ensemble CODES has formed, a project involving Tim Stewart, who's been part of Supergroove and Hopetoun Brown for many years.

Tim speaks to Jesse.
