Critter of the Week Snares Island Jumping Weta

This week's critter is a little brown weta native to the cold and windy Snares Islands, 100kms south of Rakiura. It might look unremarkable, but it has some pretty funky defence mechanisms and eating habits- it ejects stinky, brown fluid from both ends when threatened and doesn't rule out cannibalism in a pinch!
