Sharon Barbour is a BBC journalist and film-maker who has spent a good portion of her life putting together the various parts of the tragic story of the Wahine. Her efforts began as a young journalist at Radio New Zealand, and have evolved into an award winning documentary 'The Wahine Disaster'
