NSW Premier resigns amid corruption probe, Australia plans to open borders

The Premier of New South Wales, Gladys Berejiklian has resigned amid an investigation by the state's corruption watchdog.

Public hearings wiil be held later this month to investigate whether there was a conflict between Berejiklian's public duties and private interests when she was in a personal relationship with then-MP Daryl Maguire.

In another announcement Prime Minister Scott Morrison says come next month Australia's international border will reopen again.
