Central Otago lizard species need more help than ever

In Central Otago some of New Zealand's most endangered animals have long called the country's coldest and driest climate home.

A fifth of New Zealand's lizard species live in the area, but more than ever they need a helping hand to survive.

Our reporter Timothy Brown and camera operator Nathan McKinnon spent the afternoon with those ensuring their survival.
