The rubber is finally about to hit the road on the long awaited Transmission Gully motorway in Wellington.
The project's been riddled with delays and Waka Kotahi put the hard word on the contractor a fortnight ago to have it open by the end of the month.
That's tomorrow - when the road will open for the general public.
