Police treating toddler's death as a homicide

Police say a toddler who was killed in Lower Hutt on Sunday was taken to hospital at least 12 hours after he was injured.

The death of Ruthless-Empire Ahipene-Wall is being treated as a homicide after the post mortem confirmed he died of blunt force trauma.

Police say the level of violence inflicted on the little boy, is difficult to fathom.

Three adults known to Baby Ru are being considered persons of interest.

Police are asking anyone who has any information, to do the right thing.
